Yes. Each bead is shaped from traditional herbal incense by hand, so slight variations in color, texture, and shape are natural. These small differences are part of what makes each piece unique.

Our herbal incense beads are handcrafted from blended natural herbs & aromatic ingredients, not artificially soaked with fragrance oil. 

With regular wear, skin oils and body heat gradually nourish the beads, forming a smooth, rich patina over time. The color deepens and mellows uniquely to you — a beautiful mark of your time wearing them.

Recommended lifecycle: 2 years After two years of daily wear, the aromatic compounds inside will gradually deplete and the scent will become very faint. This is the natural lifecycle of hand‑blended herbal incense beads.

The aroma slowly emanates from within the bead itself. New beads carry a more noticeable scent. As you wear them against your skin, your body heat gently brings out a softer, subtler fragrance. Scent intensity naturally shifts with temperature, humidity and how often you wear them — this is the unique character of natural herbal incense, different from mass-produced scented jewelry.

Under regular wear, our incense beads do not stain fabrics or furniture. 

⚠️ Note: Heavy rubbing against very light-colored, delicate fabrics (such as silk) can rarely transfer faint powder. A little caution when wearing with pale delicate garments is recommended.

It’s best to keep them dry. Avoid wearing them in the shower, swimming, or soaking them in water. If they become damp, let them air-dry naturally.

❌ Do NOT blow dry, expose to direct sunlight, or place near heaters 

✅ Gently pat dry the surface with a soft clean cloth, then leave the beads to air-dry slowly in a cool, well‑ventilated spot. For best care: remove your beads before showering, swimming or heavy water exposure. Repeated water contact can disrupt the internal herbal blend and speed up scent loss.

Cracking is uncommon under normal indoor conditions. Extreme environmental shifts are the main risk factors: long hours under direct sun, constant blast from AC or heating vents, extremely dry air, or repeatedly getting wet then rapidly dried. When you are not wearing your beads, store them in a sealed container to protect them from sudden big changes in humidity and temperature.

Tip: After wearing it a long time, the Qi through your skin, and the beads will be brighter because you are with extremely dry skin. When you notice it, take it as a reminder to drink more water and moisture your body.

Our color comes purely from the natural pigments of our blended herbal ingredients. No synthetic dye is added. 

If the beads are brightly colored, they likely contain added chemical pigments, as it is often difficult to achieve such hues using only natural plant-based sources.

Since harvested herbs vary slightly batch to batch, minor color differences between individual beads or different production runs are normal. This natural variation makes every set one-of-a-kind.
