Two Days at the 6th Selection Meeting Expo

Two Days at the 6th Selection Meeting Expo

We spent September 16–17 at Booth B010, Hall 1, Guangzhou Airport Expo Center, exhibiting at the 6th Selection Meeting Expo. According to the organizers, it is the largest live-stream sourcing show in the Greater Bay Area, with more than 10,000 visitors and over 250 brands across the two days.

For readers who haven't followed this show: it gathers live-stream creators, MCN agencies, group-buy leaders, and supply-chain companies on one floor. Most of the products moving through a show like this are built for the camera, fast to demo, fast to ship. Incense works differently. It is slower, and it has to be experienced in person. So we brought our handmade incense sticks and coils (medicinal incense), incense beads (medicinal ingots), and herbal sachets(medicinal ingots inside), and let people light them, smell them, and ask questions.

That turned out to be the best part of the two days.

We heard a lot of honest feedback — on scent profiles, on packaging, on how our products might fit live formats and group buying. Some of it confirmed what we suspected. Some of it surprised us. Several of those conversations have already turned into potential partnerships that we are now following up on. One mid‑sized MCN highlighted strong market potential for our core herbal incense line and asked for adjusted sample packs tailored for short‑video live selling. Another content agency pointed out that simplified product storytelling would help US‑focused creators deliver smoother live pitches.

The expo is over, but the follow-up work starts now: taking what we heard at the booth and feeding it back into our products and cooperation plans. If we met you in Guangzhou, expect an email from us soon. If we didn't and you are a creator, agency, or retailer interested in working with us, reach out anytime.
